Ron Katz entered the Hamptons real estate business in 2005. Previously, he enjoyed a career as CEO of CK&L Hardware, the largest independent hardware store in Manhattan. During his successful reign of the family business, Ron was President of the Canal Street Merchants' Association for 9 years. The 52 year old institution was featured in guide books and included in many publications before it closed its doors in 2004.
Similar to real estate, Ron determined the success of CK&L Hardware was largely dependent upon - Location. Beginning in 1990 with the construction of his spec house in Quiogue, Ron developed a passion for real estate. He next built a home in Remsenburg.
Today, Ron and his wife of 36 years, Susan, enjoy sharing the Hamptons lifestyle with their two daughters and 3 grandchildren. Ron is family oriented, an avid golfer and tennis player. Ron applies the same work ethic to his real estate business that worked so well at CK&L.
